Set up ClearCrumb once, then copy the same banner, rules and services to another site with one file. Useful for agencies, for staging to live, and as a backup before big changes.
Export
- Open the ClearCrumb Dashboard and scroll to Export and import settings.
- Click Export settings. Your browser saves a small .json file.
Import
- On the other site, open the same card and click Import settings….
- Choose the file. ClearCrumb shows what it will change.
- Confirm with Import.
What is in the file

The import only accepts files exported by ClearCrumb. A file from another plugin is refused; to move from Complianz, CookieYes or Cookiebot use Import from other plugins.

The consent log can be exported with WP-CLI: wp clearcrumb log export –format=csv. See Hooks & WP-CLI.
