| Cookie policy | Last updated: October 13, 2026 What cookies areCookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. ClearCrumb uses them, and similar technologies such as local storage, to run the site and, only with your permission, to measure visits and show relevant ads. How we ask for your consentVisitors from the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked first: nothing except necessary cookies is used until you agree. Visitors from the United States can opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information at any time with the "Do not sell or share my info" button. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as such an opt-out. Your choice is stored for 365 days in a cookie named clearcrumb_consent. A record of your choice (a hashed consent ID, the categories you chose and the date) is kept on this site for 30 days as proof. Change your choiceYou can change or withdraw your consent at any time: open the cookie settings. Cookies and services we useNecessaryNeeded for the site to work: security, logging in, the shopping cart and remembering your cookie choice. These are always on.

More about your personal dataHow we handle personal data in general, and your rights, are explained in our privacy policy. |

The cookie policy updates itself
The policy is built from the services you have on the Services & cookies screen. Add or remove a service, or run the scanner, and the policy page changes with it. You never copy cookie lists by hand.
The policy comes in English, German, French, Dutch, Spanish and Italian and follows the site language.
Change the link text

Any link or button with the class clearcrumb-open-preferences opens the preferences too, so you can use your theme’s own menu items. Developers can call ClearCrumb.open() from JavaScript (see Hooks & WP-CLI).
